Downloading Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1

Windows 2000 and Windows XP users: Custom installation is not available for Internet Explorer 6 SP1 on Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating systems.

1. Connect to the Internet. If AOL user, connect to AOL then minimize AOL.

2. Open Internet Explorer

3. Copy and paste this link into the address line http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1e1550cb-5e5d-48f5-b02b-20b602228de6&displaylang=en Refer to Figure #1.

4. Click go. Refer to Figure #1.

5. Click Download when this page appears. Refer to Figure #1

Instructions - This will take between 1 and 11/2 hours for Modem users to download.

In the File Download dialog box, do one of the following:

· To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location.

6. Restart your computer to complete the installation.
